This brand new vegan restaurant has people raving; “Who knew vegan food could be so good?” states someone new to the “vegan idea.”

The atmosphere was great and welcoming. The service was okay, not as good as I was expecting, although the restaurant was busy at the time.

As I began to take a look at the menu, several things began to jump out at me. I ordered the avocado spring rolls to start. They were full of vibrant flavors and so far, I was very satisfied. For the entrée, I ordered a few things to get a taste of the restaurant. First, a brisket sandwich with yucca fries. (I was a little worried at first, but I was surprised to find that this was one of my favorite things from the menu. You could tell that is was not real meat, but it was a very tasty substitution. The yucca fries were absolutely incredible; by far the best thing on the menu! I then tried a steak with mac & cheese(recommended by a fellow customer.) The meat substitution was not as good as I had hoped, and the macaroni and cheese was a bummer- because it was a vegan restaurant, cheese may have not been the best choice.

Overall, the experience was fun and uplifting, but I would not find myself wanting to go back again for great-tasting food.
